[fprint] deb - Package

Dear Project-Members,

did you think of a deb-package for fprint? I know how to build fprint with
these instructions:
http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Medion_MD_96630#Biometrischer-Fingerabdrucksensor
but a deb-package would be much easier. I could submit a packaging-request
to launchpad if I knew the license of fprint. I guess its GPL?
