Here are a few more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/\">fprint<\/a> releases which add some crucial features:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/wiki\/Libfprint_v0.0.3\">libfprint v0.0.3<\/a> adds support for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/wiki\/Aes1610\">Authentec AES1610<\/a> found in various common laptops\/tablets, contributed by Anthony Bretaudeau. These fingerprint readers only see a small area of the finger so imaging performance isn&#8217;t great, but it is usable!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/wiki\/Pam_fprint_v0.2\">pam_fprint v0.2<\/a> adds an enrollment application contributed by Vasily Khoruzhick, and has been fixed not to activate itself for logins over SSH.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/wiki\/Fprint_demo_v0.2\">fprint_demo v0.2<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/wiki\/Fprint_demo_v0.3\">v0.3<\/a> add various bits of functionality: enrollment GUI, image saving functionality, plus the ability to count and plot detected minutiae points.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.reactivated.net\/fprint\/wiki\/images\/Fprint_demo_v0.3_verify_with_minutiae.png\" \/><br \/>\n<i>fprint_demo v0.3 showing minutiae plotted on scan image<\/i><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Things are still busy with my new project.
