I did not know that these laptops were so cheap. Are they durable? I saw the picture of XO in Wikipedia, I noticed two antennae. What is the use of that?

great to see the updates. Now if only the folks in boston would have made such email update to interested donors throughout the 2007-2009, I would have expected more for G1G1. People need to see and read about the OLPC work. Keep it up, DSD. Its great to see every story. -kevix

I think what you are doing is incredible. You are opening the eyes of these children and giving them a clearer vision of what the world has to offer. It is amazing how easily the children are picking up the skills, though I am not surprised!

Wow I together with members of my family purchased one of these units for my 10 year old son last Christmas and it didnâ€™t arrive in time for xmas, and in fact it was several weeks after that he finally received it, At that time I was a little disappointed and not really convinced that the company was going to live up to the promise of sharing these machines with the less fortunate in the world. Well I see now that my fears were totally unjustified. The one line above ‘This kid is fascinated by photos of the Eiffel tower, space shuttles, etc. His horizons just explodedâ€¦”
Made me cry
FANTASTIC JOB GUYS you should be on the Nobel Prize list for this effort, in fact I will submit a suggestion to the board to that effect.
Once Again Congratulations I will be buying and therefore sharing more of these little XO’s that make such a MASSIVE change in lives.
