Hello,

I've been meaning to get back to this.... I am currently studying to be
an electrical engineer, so I'm a little short on time.  I have some
code.  It might be useful.  It's coded in C not C++...

I'm learning more and more about hardware and drivers, so I'll try to
contribute.
