Great, I'll try to catch some more logs later tonight or tomorrow,
after reading up on usbmon.
I found this in the release notes of the blob:

- ADD global antispoofing parameters

Does that mean I need to take extra precautions in any way? Or can I
just go ahead according to the available instructions?

Also, would you mind checking why the registration process is not
working here: http://projects.reactivated.net/fprint/bugs/?
