Oh, good to know.  I was afraid to try it on my 8.04 for that reason.

OK.  Since different people have different ideas of "stable enough", I
don't know exactly how to interpret that.  I mean, Google still
considers GMail to be beta software.  Is that unstable as in you advise
against using a git snapshot for people not used to kernel panics*?  Or
is it unstable as in sometimes you try to login and it doesn't recognize
the fingerprints as matching so you have to type your password anyway?
Somewhere in between?

And Daniel, thank you for all the work you've put in to make our
hardware work :)
