Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad R61 and was just trying around with the 
integrated fingerprint reader. I downloaded the binary driver from UPEK here

http://www.upek.com/support/download/TFMESS_BSP_LIN_1.0.zip

and principally followed installation instructions at

http://toe.ch/~tsa/ibm-fingerprint/

because I'm using gentoo linux.

I can run BioAPISample or BioAPIQSample now. I choose the TouchStrip 
device from the dropdown field and get the following error:

BioAPI Error Code: 0x194d

The device gets chosen anyway afterwards, so I'm pressing the enroll 
button and:

BioAPI Error Code: 0x180d


I hope I could provide you with some information and would be happy if 
someone could tell me how to go through or how I could help further.
