[fprint] Fingerprints in files?

It's fprint, yay for confusing names, and it's currently by-design that 
you cannot feed in images from external sources. I am trying to make 
sure that vendors don't release closed-source fprint drivers.

This may be reworked in future as good technical arguments have been 
made against this limitation.
